Last Dash features a terrifying gorilla, escaped from his secret laboratory and desperate to be free of the city. To avoid confinement, players must guide their gorilla out of the city by smashing through all sorts of obstacles along the way. The game offers simple visual instructions for the one-tap controls, and then players can easily begin their escape.

As the gorilla approaches an obstacle, the player taps the space in front of it in order to prepare the creature to smash through the next obstacle. The controls are simple, but mastery of timing can be challenging. When players tap at the right time, the gorilla will smash through the obstacle and be on to the next one. If not, players must begin again at the start of the level in order to free the gorilla.

There are four different difficulty settings in the game: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Reckless. The levels vary in amount and difficulty of obstacles along the road. As users play, they can learn new attacks to overcome harder obstacles. The game tracks the number of obstacles overcome in the upper right hand corner of the screen, letting players know at the end whether they have matched their high score or not.

The 2D graphics are high-definition and certainly add to the thrill of the gameplay experience. The monstrous gorilla runs along a moving city street, alight with the colors of a city at nighttime. The quality graphics make the game exciting and realistic. Compelling music and sound effects also add to the experience, and they may be easily switched off with a touch on the main menu.

The menu offers quick access to Facebook and Twitter updates, and players can connect easily to the Game Center and compete on the Leaderboard.
